Alive Method ("Alive Method," "we," "us," or "our") is a marketing company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have when you interact with alivemethod.com and our related marketing channels.
This Policy covers Alive Method's own website and marketing activities. It does not cover personal information we process on behalf of clients in the course of an engagement; in those cases the client is the data controller and their privacy policy governs.

Alive Method is a marketing company headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (together, "GDPR"), Alive Method is the data controller for the information described in this Policy.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to:
- Visitors to alivemethod.com.
- People who contact us, request an engagement, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with Alive Method directly.
- Prospects we contact as part of outbound sales and marketing.
- Applicants who apply for roles at Alive Method.
This Policy does not apply to:
- Client engagements. Where we work inside a client's marketing systems or data, the client is the controller and their privacy policy governs.
- Third-party websites linked from our site.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
When you contact us, request an engagement, subscribe to updates, or apply for a role, we may collect:
- Identity and contact information: name, email, phone, job title, company name, business address.
- Commercial context: your role, your company, your use case, budget, timeline, and anything else you choose to share.
- Communications content: the content of emails, form submissions, chat messages, and recorded meetings where you have consented.
- Application materials (for job applicants): resume, work history, portfolio links, and similar materials.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, time zone, and language.
- Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, scroll depth.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7.
3.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Data enrichment and prospecting providers that help us identify businesses matching our customer profile.
- Analytics and advertising partners that report how visitors find and interact with our site.
- Referrals from existing clients, partners, or contacts.
- Publicly available business sources such as LinkedIn, company websites, and public directories.
3.4 AI Chat Interactions on alivemethod.com
The website includes an AI-powered experience. To improve the site and understand how visitors use it, we may log each chat turn:
- The text of prompts you enter into the site.
- The response we returned: which section was shown, and the text of any reply our AI generated.
- A pseudonymous session identifier and a one-way hash of your IP address used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP address with chat logs.
- Operational metadata: timestamp, response timing, and an indicator of whether your device is mobile or desktop.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into the chat. Chat logs are used to operate and improve the site; they are not used for marketing or advertising and are not shared with third parties for those purposes.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries about engagements, our services, and general contact.
- Conduct outbound sales and marketing. Identify businesses that match our customer profile, send business-to-business outreach, and measure campaign performance. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism.
- Send updates you have opted to receive about Alive Method.
- Operate and secure our site. Prevent fraud, debug issues, and enforce our terms.
- Perform analytics and research. Understand how visitors use our site and improve our content.
- Evaluate job applicants and communicate with candidates.
- Comply with law and respond to legal requests.

We share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that help us operate, including hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel), email delivery providers, CRM tools, analytics providers, meeting and support tools, and AI model providers (including Anthropic). These providers act on our instructions under written agreements.
- Business transfers. If Alive Method is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, or safety.
- With your consent, in any other case.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some automated analytics technologies may, under certain state laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA), be considered a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 8.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with law, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Typical retention windows:
- Marketing and sales contact records: while the business relationship is reasonably active, plus a limited follow-up window.
- Inquiry and form submissions: up to 24 months from last contact, unless a relationship has formed.
- AI chat logs: up to 90 days from the date of the interaction.
- Job applicant records: up to 24 months after the application, subject to local law.
- Legal, tax, and accounting records: as required by applicable law.
When we no longer need personal information, we delete, anonymize, or aggregate it.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, local storage) to operate the site, remember preferences, measure performance, and (where you consent) support marketing.
Categories in use: strictly necessary (required for the site to function), functional (remember your choices), analytics (understand how the site is used), and marketing (support campaigns and measure effectiveness).
Where required by law, you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies, and change your choices at any time. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" where applicable law requires.

- Correction. Request that we fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion. Request that we delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability. Receive a portable copy of information you provided.
- Objection and restriction. Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, "sale," or "sharing" where state law provides this right.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny service or provide different quality because you exercise a privacy right.
How to exercise rights: email info@alivemethod.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by applicable law (generally 30-45 days, with one extension where permitted). If we deny a request, we will explain why and how to appeal (email with subject line "Appeal"). You may designate an authorized agent with written authorization. California residents may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights, and residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states may exercise their state-law rights, through the same channel. In the EU, UK, and Switzerland you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Outbound Communications and Marketing
Marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and, where applicable, CASL (Canada) and the EU ePrivacy Directive. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (responses to an inquiry) may be sent regardless of marketing preferences. We do not send marketing SMS.
10. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where practicable, logging and monitoring, vendor diligence, and an incident response process. No system is perfectly secure. If we experience a breach of personal information, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.
11. International Data Transfers
Alive Method is based in the United States. If you access our site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, typically the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. 12. Children
Our site is directed to businesses and professional users. It is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact info@alivemethod.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice. Continued use of our site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
